  5. This is a short note how to play MasterMind.
  6.  
  7. first:
  8.       This archive contains the following:

  10.       Mastermind1.3 + .info
  11.       MasterMind.doc + .info
  12.       buzz.snd
  13.       ole.snd
  14.       data
  15.       octaplayer.library    --> put this one in your libs: directory!

  18. Start the game from CLI or WorkBench. A new screen appears;
  19. lets start playing.
  20.  
  21. You can choose the colours by clicking on the colour gadgets. These
  22. can be found on the right in the middle of the screen. When you click,
  23. the chosen colour appears on the playfield. Choose 4 colours and click
  24. on Ok. Now black and or white boxes appear and they tell you if
  25. any colour is good (black) or half good (white). Good means right colour on
  26. the right place and half good means right colour only wrong place.

  28. You can Quit or start a New game at any time.
  29. Also you can start or stop the music at any time by clicking on the
  30. Music Off / Music on gadget.
  31. The Undo button can be clicked on while 'thinking' or when you
  32. pressed a wrong colour. The last colour will be deleted. 
  33. If you click All then all the choosen colours dissappear, and
  34. you can start again.

  36. If you want to, you can also choose the 8 Colours gadget. Now 
  37. you can make a choice out of 8 colours (or 6 if you click again!)

  39. A new feature is the music. To be able to hear the song, you have to put the
  40. "octaplayer.library" in your Libs: directory. I can imagine you don't like 
  41. the music so there is a gadget to hear the music or not.

  44. tips how to program the mighty Amiga!
